The film follows Sandhya Yadav, a journalist working for a Mumbai-based news channel, and her cameraman, Vinod Sharma. While investigating a bridge collapse in Maharashtra that killed schoolchildren, they uncover evidence suggesting that illegal sand mining weakened the bridge's foundation. Their investigation brings them into conflict with a powerful sand-mining syndicate. And finally true and investigative journalism wins but the cost was quite higher.
